Discovering Illustration world

I've always want to study something in relation with the fashion world. When I was little I used to pass my days looking at magazines, cutting them and making collages, and then drawing my favorite outfits. And all this time I thought I was going to study fashion design, but the sewing part it's not my thing. The other day, in a multi-media art class, I discovered the fashion illustration world. My teacher showed me some artists and in the moment I saw their art I knew that was my destiny. That helps me pass the last days pounding my computer keyboard, discovering new illustrators and watching videos with their technics. Now I just want to pass the days drawing.

Woman Take an Eyelashing

  No one is happy with what they have, especially women.

  If you have straight hair you want it curly, if you have curly hair, you want it straight. If you have curves, you do not like them or think you have a few pounds to spare. If you do not have (fill in the blank), you want (fill in the blank). If you wear short hair, you want it longer or you want it to grow back now!

BUT what about the eyelashes? 

They give mystery, density and a deeper look. 

Fake lashes have gained ground in recent decades and are becoming more popular because of celebrities who join this trend.

Katy Perry is known for her baby doll look which is enhanced by her very thick false lashes.

They make life good. Longer, stylish legs; beauty and confidence. 

Heels are must for any woman’s outfit, because you can combine it with a Christian Louboutin or Manolo Blahnik and be the queen of the street style. 

But don't worry, you can have a perfect low cost pair and be the center of attention too.

Boho Chic Concept

First I want to define the 'Boho Chic' concept. It's a style based on an outfit which appears to be disorganized but is actually carefully thought out. Now I’m in LA, city of fame and a good example of this style. We could say this is a mixture of indie style, grunge and hippie ('Boho') with a touch of elegance ('Chic'). Some celebrities like the Olsen twins, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller know about this concept very well.

Well, this is my first post in this world of blogging, I have been wanting to do something like this time ago so I decided to sign up for a class in LA, and here I am, seated next to a crazy boy who make us all laugh and shows me weird songs.

I arrived here only a week ago, and with the jet lag and unpacking my bags I didn’t have time for visit  too many things, but only being here and see the street style is amazing. I live in Madrid and everything is very different, streets are bigger, people live relaxed, without hurry to arrive on time and weather is always perfect. There are things that I miss like the city noise, shopping with the summer sales and of course my friends and family, but I love summer in LA. The other day we went to Santa Monica Beach, and it is one of my favorite places in here, there are lots of people playing volleyball, skating, cycling and surfing, but what I liked most was the main street, the original LA, with little restaurants and stores offering every type of food and every cultures. One of the best things in LA is the mixture of cultures, with people from all around the world and everyone is accepted.
